First, soak the kokum in water for 30 minutes. If you have more time, you can soak it longer.

Roughly crush the green chilies, ginger, garlic, and mint.

Grate the coconut and blend it with water to extract the coconut milk. Repeat this process two to three times, then strain using a clean cloth or strainer.

Squeeze the soaked kokum to extract the juice and mix it with the coconut milk. Add the crushed spice mixture.

Garnish with salt and cilantro or mint leaves on top. Serve chilled.
