Add Jaggery to a pot along with water. Leave it undisturbed for half an hour. Later, strain this Jaggery water to remove all the dirt and impurities if any.

Slice the Dry Coconut into bite-sized pieces. Add this to the Sharbat. Now for the final step which is burning the Agarwood or Oud. Burn a piece of Charcoal or Charcoal Bricket. Add the coarsely powdered Agarwood on top of it. As soon as the fumes start emanating, cover it with a pot.

The pot will trap all the smoke. Wait for 5 minutes. And then empty the Jaggery Sharbat in this smoke-filled pot immediately and cover it. The smoke from the burning Agarwood gets incorporated into this special Muharram drink that's enjoyed by all with great zeal.
