Whisk the yogurt in a bowl until smooth.

Wash and grate the cucumber. Finely chop the onion.

Grind the yellow mustard seeds into a fine powder.

Add the mustard powder, red chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, cilantro, and chopped green chili to the whisked yogurt. Mix well.

Add the grated cucumber and chopped onion. Mix to combine. Garnish with cilantro and refrigerate to chill.

Serve the Pahadi cucumber raita cold.
