Ingredients

6 people
  • 1 cuproasted fried gram dal (pottukadala)
  • 1/2 cuppowdered sugar
  • 1/2 cupghee (room temperature)
  • 1 tspelaichi(Cardamom) powder

Steps

15 minutes
  1. 1

    Grind the dal to find powder.

  2. 2

    Add it into a wide bowl. Add the powdered sugar and elaichi powder. Mix well.

  3. 3

    Keep adding ghee little by little and mixing well continuously till it forms a nice smooth dough.

  4. 4

    Pinch off small small pieces and roll it into nice smooth ladoos. Apply ghee on your palms while doing this for a smoother glossier finish. You can also flatten the ladoos to form pedas and garnish with chopped almonds or pistachios.

    Tasty Maladoos are ready!!
