Idli is easy to prepare. Good for breakfast, dinner and snack time as well, mixed with urad Dal contains proteins and carbohydrates. Good for health it contains no oil.

Idli is easy to prepare. Good for breakfast, dinner and snack time as well, mixed with urad Dal contains proteins and carbohydrates. Good for health it contains no oil.
Steps

Soak urad Dal for 8 hours

Grind urad Dal and mix it with Idli ravva, pour water accordingly, mix it. Soak it over night.

Mix salt into it. Pour the idli batter into the idli plate. Keep it in the preheated Idli cooker. Cook for 1 whistle. Turn off the stove. Wait for 2 minutes.

Take it into the plate and serve hot with peanut chutney / coconut chutney/tomato chutney/sambar
