Ingredients

  • 1 cup or 150 gFried and skin removed groundnuts
  • 1 cupJaggery
  • 1/4 cupwater

Steps

    Take well fried ground nuts

  2. 2

    Add 1/4 cup of water to the jaggery and boil it.

  3. 3

    After the jaggery dissolves filter it as there will be dirt particles.

  4. 4

    Boil the the jaggery till it comes to a particular consistency where the sugar syrup when dropped in water it becomes hard and breaks.to check the consistency keep some water nearby

  5. 5

    When reached that point mix the groundnut to it and switch off the flame.

  6. 6

    Pour the mixture to a plate rubbed with some ghee.

  7. 7

    Let it cool down for some time and then cut into pieces

  8. 8

    Fry the groundnuts well so that the chikki will b crispy
