Ingredients

  1. 2 cupAll-purpose Flour
  2. 2 TbspSesame seeds
  3. 2 TbspSemolina
  4. 5 TbspGhee
  5. pinchSaffron
  6. 1/4 tspBaking powder
  7. 1/2 cupMilk
  8. 2 cupSugar
  9. 1 cupWater
  10. As neededdry fruits (Almonds and Pistachios) for garnishing

Steps

    Take a bowl & add wheat flour, semolina,sesame seeds, baking powder & ghee. Mix all ingredients. Add milk gradually & make a dough. Once dough is ready keep it aside.

    Divide the dough into small portion & roll. Cut into round pieces using bowl. Prick it with fork. Tikki’s are ready.

  3. 3

    Heat some oil and put the tikki one by one.
    Once the tikki turns light brown take it out.

  4. 4

    In a pan make sugar syrup. Add 2 cup sugar & 1 cup water. Add saffron. Once the syrup thicken and it has 2 string thread. It’s ready.

  5. 5

    Apply some ghee in a plate. Dip the tikki in syrup one by one garnish with dry fruits. Repeat the same process with all tikki.

  6. 6

    Kesari Satta are ready..!!
