Preheat oven to 160 degrees. Add apples and pears to roasting tray and pour over caster sugar.

Blitz flour, butter and sugar until they come together but don’t overdo it or you’ll end up with pastry. Tip into bowl and mix well. Pour crumble mix over fruit and spread evenly. Place in oven for 35-40 minutes. Allow to cool for few minutes then enjoy with custard, ice cream, fresh cream or whatever combination you fancy.
