  1. 4medium Potatoes boiled peeled and chopped into cubes
  2. 1 teaspoonCumin Seeds (jeera)
  3. 1/2 teaspoonRed Chilli Powder
  4. 1/4 teaspoonTurmeric Powder
  5. 1 tablespoonCumin Coriander Powder
  6. 2Red chilli
  7. 2 tablespoonOil
  8. 2 tablespoonfinely chopped Coriander Leaves
  9. to tasteSalt
  10. 1Lemon slice

  1. 1

    Heat oil in a pan or a kadai over medium flame. Add cumin seeds; when they start to crackle, add red chilli and sauté for 30-40 seconds.

    Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin-coriander powder, dry mango powder and salt (If you have added salt while boiling potatoes, then taste one boiled potato piece and add salt only if required.)

    Mix well

    Add boiled potato pieces evenly coated with masala.cook with 5 to 7 minute's

    Turn off the flame. Add coriander leaves and mix well. Transfer prepared aloo jeera fry to a serving bowl and serve hot with poori or paratha and plain curd.
