In a pan heat oil or ghee, add cloves and black peppercorns.

After 1 minutes add chopped onion and fry till golden,now add ginger garlic crushed fry for a minute

Add grinded tomatoes,cover and cook till ghee separates, now add green chilies, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt cook well.

When masala completely cooked and oil comes on a surface then add boiled daal,add some water and cook for 5 minutes on low flame,

Garnish with Julian ginger and chillies,

Serve with chapati.
