Onion gravy is caramelised onion cooked in beef stock and thicken with flour.It is an intercontinental recipe mostly served with Yorkshire pudding in Europe.

Heat butter in a pan and add the chopped onion

Lightly cook for 1 minute,add sugar and stir untill the onion caramelized and become brownish in colour

Then add in flour and stir

Finally add in the stock,cover your pan and allow to cook untill your onions become tender

You can serve onion gravy with Yorkshire pudding,pasta,bread,beans etc
