Ingredients

  1. 1 cupcooked chickpeas (about 165 grams)
  2. 2 tablespoonscream cheese
  3. Minced garlic, to taste
  4. 1 splashwhite vinegar and lemon juice
  5. Salt, to taste
  6. Cumin
  7. Olive oil
  8. Whole chickpeas, for garnish
  9. Sweet paprika

Steps

  1. 1

    Place the chickpeas in a blender or food processor with a little of their cooking water and blend until smooth. Add the cream cheese, salt, cumin, vinegar, and garlic, and blend again until well combined.

    Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with olive oil, whole chickpeas, and chopped parsley.

    Note: I didn’t have tahini, so I tried it with cream cheese and it turned out delicious.
