Cooking Instructions

In a bowl put flour, add sugar, salt, yeast, butter(preserve 1 tsp) mix then add egg(preserve 2tbsp) and milk. Knead to form a soft dough then put in a greased bowl and cover for 1 hr.

In another bowl add 1tsp butter, followed by a pinch of salt and onion then mix well. Keep in the fridge for 1hr.

Take the proofed dough, place it in a work table and knead a little using finger tips. Flatten the dough and cut into 8 pieces and shape into balls.

Take a ball and flatten with fingers. Spread 1tsp garlic butter on the dough and fold into a half-moon then gather both corners creating a flower petal. Repeat on the other balls.

Arrange on a greased round baking pan and cover for 30mins. Brush with the remaining beaten egg and bake for 30min.
