Steps
- 1
Take a Bowl, add 2 Cups Atta in it with 1/2 Teaspoon Ajwain, 1 Teaspoon Salt, 4-5 Table Spoon Oil in it & mix them properly till Atta starts changing colour & it's texture.
- 2
Then slowly-slowly start adding water in it so that no lumps are formed in the dough.
- 3
Keep rubbing it for 2-3 minutes & in the end you will get a hard dough.
- 4
Now cover the dough with a damp cloth & let it rest for 30 minutes.
- 5
After 30 minutes, cut the dough in 3 equal parts.
- 6
Now take 1 part, make it it in a medium-thick sheet with the help of rolling pin/ belan.
- 7
Now cut the sheet into medium size strips & do the same process with the remaining parts of dough.
- 8
Then take a kadhai, add oil in it & keep the gas on medium flame.
- 9
When oil gets heated up, add Atta strips in it & fry them till they are golden brown in colour.
- 10
Remember while frying, Atta will release many bubbles in oil but after 7-8 bubbles will disappear.
- 11
After 7-8 minutes, when they turn into golden brown in colour, turn off the gas & take them out in a plate.
- 12
Let them cool down, Your Namak Paare is ready to be served.
