Ingredients

  • as requiredWater -
  • 1 cupSugar -
  • 1/4 tbspJarda colour -
  • 2 tablespoonOil -
  • 1 cupCurd -
  • 240 grams.or 1 bowlMaida/All-purpose flour
  • 1 tbspBeaking Powder
  • 2 Cardamom
  • 1 tea spoonLemon juice -
  • as requiredOil -

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Take a bowl add curd,Baking powder mix well then add maida, and mix well to avoid lumps.

  2. 2

    To it now add food color, hot oil and mix it again.

    The batter should be pouring consistency set aside for 24 hours to ferment.

  3. 3

    Prepare sugar syrup of 1 thread consistency by using sugar, water and Cardamom. Later add lime juice few drops in the syrup and keep it aside.

  4. 4

    Heat oil to fry jalebi, take a plastic bag make a hole and pour the batter or sauce bottle so that it can pass through it. After that pour the batter in the hot oil, fry at a very low flame till golden brown color.

  5. 5

    Then remove from the oil drain the oil, immediately dip in the sugar syrup for a minute and remove in a plate and serve it.

    Enjoy the Jalebi.
