Homemade ghee, is pure and super healthy for us. It is a staple in our Desi cuisine, and a wide range of savory and sweet dishes can be made from it. I made this with cream taken from fresh milk.

Steps

After boiling fresh milk, we remove the top layer of cream from the milk.

After we collect all the cream in a box. We make ghee out of it.

Take malai in a big pot, and place over low flame, for a few hours.
- 4
Let it cook, until it melts and forms ghee.
- 5
When it is cooled, pour out ghee. Brown khoya is settled at the bottom.
- 6
Ghee is ready to cook. Brown khoya can be utilised in halwas and other dishes.
