Ice Lemon Tea

This is the most favorite tea of mine when I was in Malaysia. Because of the hot weather, you can get this kind of tea almost every food shop. People loves to have this with every meal. I remember, when we were at work ; we usually have sham ki chai at Mamak Restaurant ( Malaysia ka dhabba). The strange part of this tea is the bottom part was hot and top part was cold. Because they pour hot tea and hot sugar syrup first then fill up the glass with a lot of ice. When we moved back to Pakistan, I started to make my own and turn it to lemon juice and ice first and then pour tea. Tea should be light. Strong tea gives bitter taste. So this summer, my daughter and I, we enjoyed this tea a lot and now I am planning to have it hot in winters. #chai
