Take the rice and pulse in bowls and clean with water,.

Cut the tomato and potatoes into pieces.

Take a handi and put some water in it. Add the pulse (dal) in it and boil it.

Take a pan and put the oil. Heat it.

Add cumin,bay leaves,dry red chilli.

Add the tomatoes and saute it. Add ginger paste in it.

Add cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, sugar,salt.

Add some water in it and mix well. Now the masala is ready.

Put the rice in the handi. Add the potatoes in it.

Add some water to boil rice,potatoes.

It boils vigorously. Add the masala in it.

Mix well and add the green peas in it.

When the pulse,rice,potatoes, peas are boiled well....turn the gas off.

Add ghee,garam masala powder.

Mix well. Now it is ready to serve.
