Peel the potatoes, onions and garlic. Rinse with water.

Grate the vegetables on a fine grater (or kitchen machine).
Add flour, egg, salt and pepper to the grated vegetables. Stir.

Fry over medium heat until golden.

I lost my grandmother's recipe. I don't remember her using onion or garlic. She would fry them in her cast iron skillet using Criso shortening. I liked them plain or with applesauce. 😀
