Kill the crab by hitting or stabbing the back, then scrub and clean it under running water.

Cut the crab, remove the gills, and set aside the crab mustard.

Prepare a pan, add water, ginger, and green onions, then place the crab on top and steam for 7 minutes (depending on the size of the crab).

Once cooked, crack the crab shell by covering it with a clean cloth to make it easier.

Blend the onion, garlic, and oil until smooth.

Heat oil, then sauté the blended seasoning until fragrant. Add shallots, garlic, and cook until browned.

Add the crab mustard and apple juice, cook briefly, then add butter, oyster sauce, steak sauce, oregano, chili flakes, and parsley.

Season with sugar, salt, and pepper, stir well, then add the crab and cook until the liquid reduces.

Transfer to a serving plate, squeeze lime juice over it, and garnish with chopped parsley.

Caramelized butter crab is ready to be served.
