Ingredients

5 persons
  • 200 gramsmaida / all-purpose flour
  • 1 spoonbaking powder
  • 2big potatoes
  • 4 tspDhania(coriander leaves)
  • 4green chilies
  • 150 gramstamarind
  • to tastesalt
  • as neededoil
  • 1 spoonsugar
  • 4dates
  • 2 spoonslemon juice

  1. 1

    First mix flour and maida nicely and then add salt, baking powder and oil. Make dough by mixing water into it. Keep it by covering it with a dampy cloth for at least 4 hours.

    Soak the dates in water for one hour. Then make a paste in a mixer with tamarind (seeds arethrownaway),, dates (seeds are thrown away),,2 green chili. Then it is taken in a bowl and mix sugar and salt with it. Now pour water and lemon juice into it to make tamarind soup.

  3. 3

    Boil the potatoes and peel off the skins.smash the boiled potatoes and mix salt, remaining chopped green chili, dhania leaf and some tamarind juice.

    From the dough make very small pieces and make very small like puri and then fry these in hot oil.

  5. 5

    Make a small hole in each ball and keep some smashed potatoes into it. Then take 1 spoon of hot, sour tamarind soup into the ball and keep it inside your mouth.
