  • 2small carrots
  • 1/2onion
  • 4chestnut mushrooms
  • Fish cakes
  • Spicy Sauce
  • 2 tbspred pepper paste (Gochujang)
  • 2 tbspsoy sauce
  • 2 tbspsugar
  • 2 tspchicken stock
  • 2chopped garlic cloves
  • 250 mlwater

    Mix in all the spicy sauce ingredients in a pot

    Chop the vegetables and mushrooms

    You can get the Korean mochi and fish cake from Asia markets

    Put them all in a pot with the spicy sauce and cook for 30min on low hit

    Mix occasionally so the mochi doesn’t get stuck together

    And it’s done! It’s tasty with boiled egg as well

Tips

Peeling hard boiled eggs

First of all, make sure that your water is boiling BEFORE you put in the eggs. This prevents the shell and the egg white to stick together inside
