This is a soup made from the rib of moringa tree. We generally use the drumstick leaves in our recipes and throw the rib I.e., the stick part from where we remove the drumstick leaves. But that is also equally healthy like drumstick leaves. So, I tried a soup using that. My sister introduced this healthy recipe to me. In the similar way we can also try this soup with curry leaves rib, pudhina or coriander. Try this.

Cut the rib into pieces. In a pan add the moringa rib pieces. To that, add shallots, garlic and water.

Boil it till it cooks for 10 to 15 min.

Remove that from water. Grind it in a mixer and filter it. Add the filtered extract to a pan.

In a bowl, add a tsp of corn flour and 5 tsp water and make a slurry. Add corn slurry to filtered extract in pan.

Add pepper and salt. Boil it. Healthy Moringa rib soup is ready to serve hot.
