Green onion fritter is a very unique dish of Odisha . Crispy outside and yummy fritters are a good side dish option or can be taken as tea time snacks also. It is a very easy fritters made with few ingredients .

Green onion fritter is a very unique dish of Odisha . Crispy outside and yummy fritters are a good side dish option or can be taken as tea time snacks also. It is a very easy fritters made with few ingredients .

Clean the green onion thoroughly under running water 2 to 3 times, and chopped nicely.

In a big bowl put chopped green onion and other spices, add gram flour, rice flour and make a thick paste by adding water gradually.

Now heat a tawa or pancake pan snd greased with little oil put 1 or 2 tbsp batter on each mould of pancake pan / or 4 to 5 fritter on tawa at a time, and cook the fritters on low flame.

Flip the fritters after 3 to 5 minutes, add little more oil if required and cook both the side till they become brown and crisp. Now fritters are ready, serve it hot with rice as a side dish or enjoy it with your evening tea.
