Ingredients

  1. 500 gmsomena
  2. Hot boiled water
  3. 2Tomatoes
  4. 1 tbsptomato paste(optional)
  5. 2medium onions
  6. Bell pepper
  7. 1 tspcurry powder
  8. 2royco cubes or maggie cubes
  9. Dhania
  10. 1 tbspGarlic n ginger paste
  11. Cooking oil
  12. Salt

Cooking Instructions

    Sort your omena to remove the dirt

  2. 2

    Soak your omena in hot water for about 30mins

  3. 3

    Meanwhile prepare your ingredients

  4. 4

    After 30mins or more drain that water n let it stay for 5mins to remove excess water.

  5. 5

    Put oil in your pan n allow it to become smokey hot.

  6. 6

    Add your omena n on medium heat,let it fry until it becomes golden brown.Once in a while slowly turn them.

    Once it has become brown add your onions,fry them until it becomes translucent

  8. 8

    There after add your garlic n ginger.Fry them for a minute.At this point,l add my curry powder,salt n royco cubes n give a quick mix.

    Add your bell pepper,dhania stems n tomatoes n allow them to cook until soft,then add your your tomato paste if need be.

    Allow it to simmer on low heat n finally garnish with dhania

  11. 11

    Enjoy with hot ugali n creamed veges or any kind of vegetables.
