Steps

Soak almonds and poppy seeds separately for 6 hours. Peel the almonds and make a paste by grinding both ingredients together. Now heat ghee in heavy bottomed pan,add this paste.

Saute on medium flame till nice colour and grainy texture then add milk.let it boil,mix at regular intervals.

Once the milk reduces and the halwa thickens then add nuts and sugar. Also add cardamom powder.

Now by stirring constantly let cook it till it absorbs the milk completely. Serve it by garnishing with almond flakes and some raisins.
