Ingredients

1 hr 30 minutes
4 servings
  1. 3raw banana, boiled, peeled,
  2. 1 boiled potato,
  3. 11 onion chopped finely,
  4. 3-4 green chilli chopped finely
  5. as required ,dhania patta chopped,
  6. to taste,Salt
  7. 1/2 tsp garam masala powder,
  8. 2 tbsp dry roasted besan,
  9. For Gravy
  10. 3 tbsp dahi,
  11. 1 tbsp besan,
  12. 1 tsp dhania powder,
  13. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder,
  14. 1/2 tsp garam masala powder,
  15. Pinch methi dana,
  16. 1 tsphaldi powder
  17. 1/4 tsp red chilli powder, mix with water,
  18. to taste,salt
  19. Tadka.
  20. 2 tsp desi ghee,
  21. 2 dry red chilli,
  22. 4-5 tbspmustard oil,
  23. 1 tsp garlic paste
  24. 1 tsp ginger paste,

Steps

1 hr 30 minutes

    Firstly take a mixing bowl, add peeled banana, potato & all other ingredients, mix well. Keep aside.

  2. 2

    Now take a mixer jar, add all gravy ingredients & make a smooth ghol. Keep aside.

  3. 3

    Take a wok, add oil, heat it.

  4. 4

    Wet your hands, take small portions of the batter, make balls, deep fry them until brown. Keep aside.

  5. 5

    Reduce the quantity of oil, again heat it, add methi dana, let it splutter.

  6. 6

    Now add ginger garlic paste, add lil water, sauté it for a while.

  7. 7

    Add haldi chilli mix, stir fry it for a while. Cover it with the lid, cook it at low flame till oil has oozed out.

  8. 8

    Now add ghol, stir it, add more water, add salt also, keep stirring till first boil. Let it boil for a while.

  9. 9

    Add kela balls, stir it.

  10. 10

    Lower the flame, cover it with the lid, cook it until gravy becomes a lil thick.

  11. 11

    Switch off the flame now, take out in a serving bowl, keep aside.

    Take a pan, add ghee, heat it.

  13. 13

    Add dry red chilli, fry it till golden brown.

  14. 14

    Pour tadka over the Kadhi, serve it with rice or roti.
