Creamy Tomato soup
It goes well with a grilled cheese sandwich 🥪
Cooking Instructions

Mince onion finely and microwave for 2 minutes.

In a medium pan, medium high heat, sauté bacon until golden brown. Save the oil. Cut bacon into bacon bits.

Using the same pan, on low heat, use the bacon oil to sauté garlic until it is golden brown. Remove the garlic from pan. Save the oil.

Cut tomatoes in half. In the same pan, using the saved oil, medium-high heat, char the tomato, 3 minutes.

In the same pan, high heat, add broth, tomato purée, and cooked onion and bring to boil. Turn to medium-low and cook for at least 10 minutes. The longer you simmer, the milder the tomato and onion flavor.

Add heavy whipping cream and bring it to boil.

Add bacon bits, garlic and sugar and cook for 5 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Sprinkle minced basil leaves and enjoy 😉
