Clean Strawberry & Apple. Remove skin & seeds of Apple & steam it for 5 mins until soft. Cut Strawberry and add it to a bowl

Grind Apples to a paste-Apple sauce. This acts as natural pectin which is responsible for jammy consistency.

Add 2 tbsp Maple syrup to cut strawberries & let it sit for 15 mins

The strawberry would have released some water. Add it to a hot pan.

Once it starts to boil, mash it with masher, you can also mash/grind little before adding to pan.

Set timer to 20 mins. Mash it frequently & add 2 tbsp Maple syrup at a time.

Taste test after 15 mins. If your strawberry & apple are sweet, you need less Maple syrup. Increase according to your taste.

After 20 mins, you can freeze a little portion of the jam to check for desired consistency. Or run a spatula over it & the contents should not merge.

Cool it completely. Add it to a sterilised jar. Enjoy with bread/cookies.
