Easy Strawberry Jam

I always make strawberry jam at this time of year. Homemade strawberry jam is delicious.
Even if the jam is runny after simmering for 10-15 minutes, it will thicken when cooled. If it still doesn't thicken, simmer a bit more.
It has quite a mild sweetness, so you can enjoy it in many ways, on bread, with yogurt, in desserts, etc. Recipe by pastis009

Steps
- 1
Wash the strawberries and remove the stems. I used small strawberries this time.
- 2
Combine strawberries, sugar and lemon juice in a pan and mix. Let it sit overnight (1 hour at the very least). Moisture will come out of the strawberries.
- 3
Place the pan over strong heat. Once it comes to a boil, turn the heat down to medium and simmer while scooping the scum.
- 4
Let it simmer for 10-15 minutes and you're done.
