Microwaved Soft and Fluffy Potatoes

I realized that when using the microwave to boil vegetables, adding some water makes them taste better. I just came up with this recipe on the spot.
Since these are cooked in the microwave for awhile, rather than using plastic wrap, it's probably better to use a cheap plastic bag from the grocery store.
You could also use a microwaveable plastic container with a lid (Tupperware, etc.)
If your microwave has a vegetable steaming course, use that. Recipe by Yuuyuu0221

Steps
- 1
Wash the potatoes well and cut in half. Place on a heat-resistant dish, add water, and cover with a lid or plastic bag.
- 2
Microwave for 7-8 minutes at 500 W. Insert a toothpick through to check for doneness. If still hard, keep an eye on them as you continue to microwave.
