The most delectable & commonplace way to relish & cherish the traditional Hilsa (Ilish) machh of Bengal (both east & west)

Wash the fish pieces gently & apply some salt & turmeric powder to it to well coat & set aside for about 15-20 mins time

Heat up a frying pan with the required amount of Mustard Oil, over the medium-high flame & allow it to fume well

Add in the fish steaks to it- keep the flame as is & sauté (fry) gently- it’s a very soft & delicate fish, to ensure not to break or damage the pieces while frying it

Fry until golden brown- Add in the green chillies to it, sauté gently & dish out both- One by one

ENJOY 😋 with piping hot steamed rice 🍚 with the hilsa oil spread all over it, generously 💁🏻♀️
