Steps

Squeeze the lemon juice into the food processor. Add tahini and process for around 1 minute.

Open the processor scrape the bottom and the sides and process for another 30 seconds.

Mince the garlic cloves and add it to the tahini mixture together with the olive oil and cumin. Process for another 30 seconds.

Add half a can of chickpeas into the processor and process for another minute.

Add the rest of the chickpeas and process until homogeneous. At this point the hummus should be pretty thick. And some water and continue processing.

Keep adding water and blending until desired consistency is reached. Add salt to taste.
