Ingredients

  1. 1/2 headcabbage
  2. 1 Ccelery, diced
  3. 1 Cwhite or yellow onion, diced
  4. 1 Ccarrots, diced
  5. 1 Cgreen bell pepper, diced
  6. 2-3 clovesgarlic, minced
  7. 4 Cchicken broth
  8. 14 ozcan of diced tomatoes with basil, oregano, garlic
  9. 1 tsporegano
  10. 1 tspbasil
  11. 1/2 tspred pepper flakes
  12. salt and pepper to taste

Cooking Instructions

    Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large pot over medium heat

  2. 2

    Add celery, onions, bell peppers and carrots, saute until slightly tender

  3. 3

    Stir in garlic and cook until fragrant, then pour in chicken broth

  4. 4

    Stir in tomatoes and cabbage, bring to a boil and then reduce heat to a simmer. Cook until cabbage is tender

  5. 5

    Stir in oregano, basil, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper. taste broth and adjust seasoning if needed
