Ingredients

10 minutes
  • 5 tablespoonsolive oil
  • 3 tablespoonswhite wine or apple cider vinegar (or lemon juice)
  • 1 tablespoonDijon mustard (smooth or wholegrain)
  • 1 clove crushed garlic
  • Salt and pepper
  • Chopped fresh herbs 🪴

Steps

  1. 1

    Whisk together the wet ingredients using a whisk until the mixture thickens and the ingredients are emulsified. Add the crushed garlic and shuck again. Add dried herbs if you are using.

    If you are using soft herbs, chop and stir through just before serving.

Tips

Use herbs to add fresh and healthy flavour!

Herbs are a great way to add flavour to dishes and to provide a healthy alternative to salt. A lovely way to add freshness and flavour to vegan, plant-based dishes of all cuisines and particularly good for soups, stews and legumes 🌱🌿 I was very lucky to receive these beautiful plants for Mother’s Day, and I have some lovely varieties growing in my garden🥰
