Italian Dish Made with Dried Whole Sardines

Dried whole sardines are inexpensive, but my kids wouldn't eat them if I just baked them in the oven, so I tried something new.
Basil and olive oil get rid of the sardines' fishy smell. These are less bitter than normal baked ones, and are easier to eat for kids. The bones come off easily after the fish are baked. Recipe by Ponchobi-ta

Steps
- 1
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange the dried whole sardines, and sprinkle with dried basil.
- 2
I also used bite-sized potatoes, peppers, and cherry tomatoes this time.
- 3
Swirl in olive oil at the end. Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes at 200℃. Make sure that they won't get burnt.
- 4
Then, you're done. It's really tasty to tear apart the cherry tomatoes and eat them with sardines and other vegetables.
