So Easy with Pancake Mix! Chocolate Scones

I wanted an easy no-fuss scone, so I came up with this scone recipe.
If you lay out the batter thickly on the baking paper you'll get a softer result. If you roll it out thinly before baking you'll get a crispy result. Recipe by Hanaruri

Steps
- 1
Put the chocolate in a plastic bag and crush into small pieces. (Make sure you don't split the bag. Size to your liking)
- 2
Put the margarine into a separate bag and massage it over the bag to soften it.
- 3
Once the margarine has softened, add the pancake mix, skimmed milk and squeeze the bag with both hands to mix.
- 4
Once it's all mixed well, add the crushed chocolate and mix lightly.
- 5
Add water and squeeze to complete the mixture.
- 6
Lay it out on baking paper as a square and cut into rough sizes.
- 7
The scones are going to rise so separate each piece and place on baking paper.
- 8
Bake for 30 minutes in an oven pre-heated to 170°F celcius.
