Spiced Panettone Bites

This Christmas, because of the restrictions we've all been living through and not being able to celebrate with family and friends, we ended up with leftover desserts—in this case, panettone. I decided to try making a recipe for a snack, dessert, or even breakfast by cutting the panettone into small cubes and toasting them in a skillet with brown sugar and cinnamon. Once plated, dust with powdered sugar and drizzle with honey, and that's it! Crunchy, caramelized, and so good you can't stop at one. It only takes about 8–10 minutes. If you like, you can add some pastry cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
