Ingredients

50 minutes
4 servings
  • 500 gramschicken
  • 1 cuproasted onions
  • 15 almonds
  • 12cashew nuts
  • 1 tsppepper corns
  • 1 tspcumin seeds
  • 1 inchcinnamon stick
  • 2 tspginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 tspturmeric powder
  • 1 cupcream
  • 1 cupcurd
  • 2 tspred chilli powder
  • 1 tspcoriander powder
  • 2small cardamom
  • 1 tsplemon juice
  • to tasteSalt
  • 4 tbspghee/clarified butter/oil
  • 3-4cloves
  • 1 tbspchopped coriander leaves
  • 2small bay leaves
  • 1black cardamom

Steps

50 minutes
  1. 1

    Firstly blanch almonds and cashew nuts for 15 minutes, marinate chicken with salt, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, turmeric powder and chilli powder at least for 45 minutes,

    Grind almonds, cashew nuts, &fried onions along with curd, keep aside, place a sauce pan on a medium flame, add ghee &heat up add in all the whole garam masala ingredients saute it for 2-3 minutes,add ginger garlic paste saute for 2 more minutes, now add marinated chicken pieces to it fry them about 5-6 minutes.

    Add chilli powder, coriander powder, mix well add salt, now add ground onion and nuts paste and fresh cream mix well, saute it everything nicely add little water if required cover the lid and cook chicken until it's done.

  4. 4

    Open the lid add chopped coriander, 2tbsp fresh cream again mix well.and it's done. Enjoy this rich gravy with Rice/roti/nan.
