Easy Boiled Egg♪

cookpad.japan
cookpad.japan @cookpad_jp

I learned this method from an American granny in my neighbourhood. I adjusted the length of time to leave the egg.
It's also so easy to peel the egg using this method.

Leaving the eggs for 10 minutes will result in a hard-boiled egg with a slightly soft centre.
If you prefer it soft-boiled, leave the eggs for about 7-8 minutes.
The length of time you leave it for also depends on the size of the eggs, so adjust this accordingly.
If you want soft-boiled eggs, you should make sure the eggs have cooled completely in cold water. Otherwise they will go on cooking to become hard-boiled. Recipe by KiwieKiwie

Steps

  1. 1

Put the eggs in a pan with enough water to cover them, and put on a high heat. Once the water comes to a boil, turn off the heat, and leave the pan as it is, with the lid on.

  2. 2
