It's not common to pair tamales with pico de gallo, but the first time I tried them together, back in my beautiful town in Zacatecas, I found them delicious. It's amazing how it enhances the flavor. This time, I prepared it to accompany some delicious chicken tamales in green sauce (see recipe).

Here are the ingredients. Of course, they should be washed beforehand.

Finely chop the tomatoes.

Finely chop the onion.

Chop the cilantro.

Finely chop the jalapeños.

Add the vinegar from the jalapeños and a pinch of salt. Mix thoroughly.

Excellent for accompanying tamales or tacos!
