Soak rice, tur dal, moong lentils in water for half an hour.

Heat oil and ghee in a frying pan. Add all the spices in this mixture and add mustard, asafoetida, fenugreek, and cumin till it is golden brown. Add onion, chili, and garlic and saute slowly.

Then add the peas. Then add bay leaf, cinnamon, cloves, and chopped carrots and potatoes.

Then add ginger garlic paste on it, add cinnamon, cloves, pepper powder, lots of powder, and hot spices, stir well and prepare vegetables.

In a pressure cooker, add rice, tur dal, mung lentils, boil them properly, add vegetables, and heat for 2 whistles.

At 2 whistle, turn off the gas and let it cook for a while. Serve the khichdi with curd, pickled, onion, and papad.
