Steps

Soak chana dal overnight,
Add water into cooker, salt and turmeric powder
Add dal and make 4 whitstles - 2
Once it's cooled down, open the lid and mix the dal
On a pan, heat oil, add dry red chilli, red chilli powder and add dal.
Add water according to consistency, salt if required and cook for 5mins. - 3
For Pakwan, prepare dough by mixing flour, salt, oil and water.
Rest the dough for 15mins. - 4
Make small balls out of it, roll it.
Deep Fry into oil until crisps. - 5
Serve dal with onion topped with Pakwan
