  • 100 gChana dal
  • 2medium Onion
  • 1small tomato
  • as neededOil
  • as requiredWater
  • 250 gFlour
  • 2Dry red chilli
  • as neededCoriander leaves for garnish

Steps

    Soak chana dal overnight,
    Add water into cooker, salt and turmeric powder
    Add dal and make 4 whitstles

  2. 2

    Once it's cooled down, open the lid and mix the dal
    On a pan, heat oil, add dry red chilli, red chilli powder and add dal.
    Add water according to consistency, salt if required and cook for 5mins.

  3. 3

    For Pakwan, prepare dough by mixing flour, salt, oil and water.
    Rest the dough for 15mins.

  4. 4

    Make small balls out of it, roll it.
    Deep Fry into oil until crisps.

  5. 5

    Serve dal with onion topped with Pakwan
