Steps
- 1
In a dish add your raw liver and mala and mix well.
- 2
Cover and leave to sit for 1-2 hours. (I usually place mine in the fridge.)
- 3
In a sufuria add oil and onions. Fry till they start browning.
- 4
Add tomatoes to the browning onions and stir well.
- 5
Once the tomatoes are soft, add the liver mixture.
- 6
Stir well and leave to cook for about 2 minutes.
- 7
Add tomato paste and spices to the cooking liver.
- 8
Mix well and allow to cook for 1-2 minutes.
- 9
Add a little water and let the liver cook for a minute or two. (I usually rinse the container with the mala with a little water and use that water at this point.) Add the chilli too now.
- 10
Serve and enjoy.
