Steps

Soak the daal for 2 hours and wash it. Boil it until it becomes mushy. Take a pan, add oil. Once oil is hot add garlic and green chillies crushed. Add dal.

Let it boils for some more time. Add turmeric and salt. Boil it for some more time. Prepare seasoning - take oil. Once oil is hot, add chopped garlic and curry leaves. Switch off the flame and then only add Red chilli powder (otherwise it will burn). Pour it on the daal. Serve hot with Roti.

Tip - I used garlic two ways - one is crushed and other one was added in seasoning.
