Handy Freezable White Sauce

I wanted to use up some milk that was nearing its use-by date. This is a trick we use often in my house.
Cut the sauce with a spatula in Step 3.

Make the white sauce. Refer to.

When the sauce has cooled down, pour it into a container and put it in the fridge.

When it has hardened, cut it into four pieces and wrap. Put the pieces in a Ziploc freezer bag, and remove the air before sealing. Place the bag on a tray and put it in the freezer.

Let it defrost naturally or in the microwave when you want to use it.
