Black forest cake (No egg, No Maida)

At my place everyone likes the cake made by me and always make a one when they want to eat! Also make it from whole wheat flour so it's healthy too! Since it's made at home am always sure that it's the best and has no preservatives!

Preheat the oven at 180°C for 10 minutes. Seive all the dry ingredients 2-3 times.

Take all the wet ingredients and sugar in a bowl. Make a homogeneous mixture by keeping it on a double boiler.

Add the dry ingredients in 3 parts and mix by cut and fold method. Pour the ready mixture into the greased and dusted baking pan of your choice. I had used a 6" round tin.

Bake them for 45 minutes at 180°C. Let the cakes cool on cooling rack, then cut it into three parts. Remove the dome, if any.

When the cakes are getting cooled whip the whipping cream. Also make the pouring ganache. For the ganache take chopped dark compound chocolate in a bowl and pour little heated cream on it. Cover it and keep it aside for some time. Now mix the mixture properly and your ganache is ready.

Place one part of the cake sponge on the cake board soak it with sugar syrup. Cover it with whipped cream and spread chocolate chips and chopped cherries on it. Similarly do it for next layers. For the last layer soak it only with sugar syrup and then cover it with whipped cream. Cover the full cake with whipped cream.

Now make design at the bottom of the cake and then carefully pour the ganache from the circumference of the top part of the cake. That will form drips. Now place gems over the ganache part.

On the inner side make rosettes and place cherries on each rosette. In the central part place the chocolate shavings carefully. Now your cake is ready to serve!
