Cut onions thick and brown on medium high heat until well browned. Take off heat and allow to cool when done.

While onions are browning, cut chicken into small cubes and marinade in dahi, salt, pepper, ginger, garlic, red chilli powder and dhaniya powder. Remember to put adequate salt and red chilli powder, although more can be added when finishing the dish.

Once cool, blend onions in small blender until it is primarily a paste. This would be a lighter brown if not for so many burnt onions.

Fry chicken in same pan as onions until cooked fully through.

Once chicken cooked but before fully dry, add onion paste into the chicken and cook till properly coated
- 6
Add more salt, pepper and red chilli powder to taste. Add a squeeze of lemon juice. Add little water to reach desired consistency.
