Ingredients

20-25 minutes
2 people
  • 2 cupIdli batter(4:1ratio of rice and urad dal)
  • 2 tspMustard seeds
  • 15-20 lCurry leaves
  • For coconut chuney
  • 1/4 cupCoconut
  • 3-4 Garlic cloves
  • 1-2Green chillies
  • 5-6Curry leaves
  • 2 tablespoonChana dal
  • 1/4 cupCoriander leaves
  • to tasteSalt
  • For red chutney
  • 3Tomato (medium)
  • 5Soaked red chillies
  • 1/4 cupCoconut (fresh)
  • 5-7 Garlic cloves
  • to tasteSalt

Steps

20-25 minutes
  1. 1

    Take one small tadka pan. Add oil, mustard seeds and curry patta. Fry for one minute. Keep aside

  2. 2

    Take paddu maker add mustard seeds and curry patta mixture in each section.

  3. 3

    Pour idli batter. Cover with lid for 4-5 minutes then turn paddu with the help of knife and again cook for 3-4 minutes. Paddu is ready.

  4. 4

    For red and coconut Chutney churn all the ingredients and make tadka with the mustard seeds and curry patta.
